Theckla Sterrett, President and Director of Account Services

Theckla’s account experience includes healthcare, retail, food and restaurant, financial, real estate, educational, business-to-business and sports. Active in the community, she has served on the boards of the Mecklenburg County Mental Health Association, "A Child's Place," Traveler's Aid, The Alumni Board of Queens University of Charlotte, The Charlotte Ad Club, Historic Charlotte and numerous other organizations. She has been a facilitator and presenter at several marketing seminars. In 1997, she was named one of the 25 Outstanding Business Women in Charlotte by the Business Journal.

Russ Dymond, Executive Vice President & Director of Creative Services

Russ oversees the Sterrett Dymond creative team.  His experience includes positions at Long Haymes and Carr, Cole Henderson Drake, Cargill Wilson Acree, and Lawler Ballard Little. His list of accomplishments includes numerous awards in all media from the most prestigious competitions in the country, including CA Magazine, The One Show, the Clio Awards, the New York Copy Club, the Advertising Club of New York and the Addy Awards. Adweek Magazine named him "best TV copywriter in the Southeast."  In 2003, the Charlotte Ad Club awarded him their Silver Medal Award for outstanding contributions to advertising and for furthering the industry’s standards.
